Western Air Gun Road Runner Compressor

We are excited to bring to market the new Western Air Gun Road Runner Compressor! This is a unique offering that can be powered by 110v/220v wall outlets, DC Car Batteries, or self contained portable battery packs. Much like your favorite power tools you can now forgo the cables and run this unit directly off a portable battery pack making it the most portable supply of high pressure air on the market.

Available through Western Airgun is an 18ah portable battery pack (sold separately) That will give roughly 6 refills on a 580cc bottle / charge cycle. Makita battery packs will also work interchangeably with the Western Air Gun Road Runner allowing users to choose which battery pack they can use to power their portable compressor. 110v power cable and 12v Car battery cables also come included with the Western Air Gun Road Runner as optional power supplies. Also included with the Road Runner is a free of charge carry bag with pockets for accessories.

Manufactured with high-quality materials and proprietary cooling technology, the Western Air Gun Road Runner Compressor is oil- and air-cooled and uses special piston and cylinder bore materials that allow it to run for extended periods with minimal issues. High-speed cooling fans activate only when needed based on temperature and shut off when not required. A sight glass on the side of the unit lets you easily check the oil level. The cooling system is so effective that the manufacturer approves filling carbon bottles up to 9 liters. In testing, the Western Airgun Road Runner Compressor topped off a 75 cubic foot carbon bottle from 3,000 psi to 4,500 psi in one hour and fifteen minutes with no issues.

Regardless of power supply you choose to run this compressor on, it is an impressive unit for filling High Pressure Air. Using oil and fan cooling this unit has the ability to be run for continuously for long periods of time, making it possible to fill both guns and small tanks as well as topping off larger fill bottles if desired. In our testing a 580cc bottle could be filled from empty in approximately 6min, a 1.64L tank can be topped off from 200bar to 310bar in approximately 20min and a 6.8L tank could be topped off from 200bar to 310bar in about an hour and fifteen minutes. A manual set automatic shut off pressure gauge is easily accessible and makes filling to different pressures very simple for the end user.

Auto shut-off is simple: set the desired fill pressure, connect your airgun or tank, turn it on, and walk away. The compressor shuts off automatically when the set pressure is reached. It is recommended to briefly open the bleed valve every twenty minutes or so while running. A small moisture filter for damp conditions and a flexible hose are included. Optional upgrades and accessories are available, including a high-performance battery pack and enhanced ceramic filtration.
